Prerequisites to Create and Edit Forms

Introduction

Most of the setup work for forms is handled by the system administrator (or the person responsible for IT tasks within the company). This allows operators to focus on completing the forms assigned to them rather than deciding which forms to locate and fill out.

To create forms, appropriate system permissions are required.

Setting Permissions

Form Designer is only accessible to users whose group permissions include the required access rights.

• Open the Desktop version of Visual Dispatch
• Click Tools > Permission Preset 

• Select the user type to assign permissions.

• Add the following permissions for Form Designer and Form Manager

• Click OK
