In Visual Dispatch, quotes can be sent directly to the customer for acceptance via email. This article demonstrates what the customer experience is like when receiving the quote via email.
The salesperson will send the quote from Visual Dispatch
The email will come from the salesperson's email address and display their name. Any attachments that were added to the quote will be visible as email attachments. The customer would select "Review Quote", which will open the following screen in a new tab.
The new tab will display the company name at the top, the quote number, and the customer's name. They will then see the "View Quote", "Decline Quote", "Update PO", and "Sign Quote" options. They will also have the option to download any attachments from this screen as well.
Sign Quote:
After selecting "Sign Quote", the customer will see a screen with their name in the top left corner. The field in the top right corner will pull in the PO number if entered previously. It can also be added here.
In order to accept, the customer will need to select "I agree", acknowledging that this electronic signature is recognized as a binding signature.
Decline Quote:
If for some reason the customer needs to decline the quote, they will be prompted to put their name and the reason they are declining. This will then be transmitted back to Visual Dispatch for the salesperson to see.
Update PO:
The customer will be able to add or update a PO number directly from the quote. This will be saved to the rental.
