VisD Statuses are used to provide clarity on what is happening with a Rental at any given time. These Statuses are set to be automatically updated once the Rental moves through certain stages of the project. Please see below for the list of System Default Statuses that a Rental will go though.
Each Status represents the steps a Rental can go through. As mentioned before, the example above represents the list of System Statuses, however more custom statuses can be created.
New Statuses can be created. To do so, please follow the below Steps:
Navigate to List -> Status
Click on "New"
A new window will appear which will the creation of the Status Code and Description. There will also be checkboxes available to allow for Statuses to have certain functions in the system. Please see below for reference:
If the new Status needs to have a Bar Color when viewed in the Chart Areas of a Rental(Equipment/Resource Chart), this can be accomplished by navigating to the Char Bar Colors Tab. Check the "Apply Bar Color" checkbox, then choose a "Back" and "Fore" color, as well as a pattern if desired.
