Overview:
VisD can calculate Overtime on any given Job. This can be set on an Ad-Hoc/Per Job basis, or Overtime Presets can be created and pre-configured as defaults on Customers
To create Overtime Presets, please follow the below steps:
Navigate to List ->Other List -> Rental Form ->Overtime Presets
This page will display all created OT Presets. To create a new one, click on the "New" button
Filling in the information:
Weekdays: This section will allow for a time constraint to be put in place. In other words, Overtime or Double Time can be set to calculate before a certain hour, and to start calculating after a certain hour.
The checkbox below asks if the system should include the minimum hours that can be set on a job to be included in the OT/DT calculation. If this box is checked, then the minimum hours that are set on jobs will be included in the overtime calculation
The next section allows for Caps to be placed on Regular Time hours.
For example, if "OT Longer than" is set to 8hrs, then OT will start calculating once Regular Time hours exceed 8hrs.
If DT is also set, it will start calculating once the Regular Time hours exceed the number in set in that field. In the screenshot example, DT Hours will start calculating if a job exceeds 12hrs.
The same logic applies to Weekend Hours too:
The next section allows the system to apply Taxes and Discounts to OT/DT hours if need. Check any of the boxes here to apply the Tax or Discount
The final section allows for Accounting Items to be attached to the OT/DT hours. If there's an accounting integration being used, attach the proper Item Code here to route these hours to the correct Receivable Account
